Hillside Center for Behavioral Services is a full service, outpatient behavioral health center which offers a wide range of care. Our staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors and social workers who are ready to assist clients to solve problems in healthy ways, increase effective coping skills, and when necessary, prescribe medication. Hillside Center for Behavioral Services offers confidential, high- quality care and treatment for all ages, and is accredited through the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Medical Director Purna Surapaneni, M. D., is one of the area’s most highly regarded psychiatrists specializing in children and adolescents. What You Should Expect
Most importantly, any treatment you receive at Hillside Center for Behavioral Services is completely confidential. Your care is between you and your psychiatrist, psychologist or therapist only. Treatment varies depending on your needs. Sessions generally last 45 minutes and medication evaluations last 15 minutes.

How to Make an Appointment
For your first appointment, we will ask you to arrive 15 minutes earlier than your scheduled appointment time with the therapist. This is so you can complete all the necessary initial paperwork. Our office may ask you to print and complete the following forms prior to your appointment: You will need to bring all necessary insurance information as well as any medications you are taking, and any guardianship or custody papers for minors. Please make cancellations at least 24 hours in advance by calling (810) 603-8800.
