Genesys offers free hip and knee pain seminars

(GENESEE COUNTY, MI) Genesys Orthopedic Services will conduct free hip and knee 
pain seminars on these days:
Tuesday, Feb. 15 and Thursday, March 14 at 10 am, in the auditorium of Genesys 
Regional Medical Center's Health Park campus.
Participants will learn about hip and knee anatomy, causes of pain, latest 
treatments, and nutrition.

The Hip and Knee Replacement Program at Genesys links all aspects of joint 
replacement surgery into one simple, and easy-to-understand program - from 
pre-operative exercises to surgery, rehabilitation and post replacement 
mobility.

Genesys has the region's only accredited knee and hip replacement program, and 
is considered the region's leader in orthopedic care and surgeries. Genesys 
also was designated a Blue Distinction Center for knee and hip replacement by 
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan. Genesys also is the only hospital in 
Michigan and one of only three in the nation to earn Joint Commission 
certification for its hip fracture repair program.
