Genesys presents community health education program

(GENESEE COUNTY, MI) To help consumers better understand and manage their health, Genesys Medical Education presents a monthly program on a variety of medical topics. CACHE - Congdon Adult Community Health Education - is designed to offer educational information on medical conditions that affect many individuals and families.
Physicians and clinicians from Genesys will present these monthly talks that include the following: heart health, women's health, gastrointestinal conditions, diabetes, cancer, infections, bone health, medication use, and much more. Classes take place every month from January through November.

The first CACHE class will take place Wednesday, Jan. 8 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Genesys Conference and Banquet Center. Justin Miller, DO, a gastroenterologist from Genesys, will talk about GI issues including colon cancer. Gina Panone, a registered dietitian at Genesys, will discuss probiotics and healthy eating.

Cost for CACHE is $5 in advance or $7 at the door.
