Stroke Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is a critical part of recovery from a stroke. The effects of stroke may mean that you must change, relearn or redefine how you live. Stroke rehabilitation helps you return to as much independence as possible.

Rehabilitation doesn't reverse the effects of a stroke. Its goals are to build your strength, capability and confidence so you can continue your daily activities despite the effects of your stroke.

It is important to choose an appropriate comprehensive rehabilitation program to address the physical, cognitive, and emotional changes that are taking place after a stroke. At Genesys Rehabilitation Center, the clinicians are experienced in neurologic rehabilitation which can improve the patient's functional outcome. Many of our clinicians are NDT certified, which provides the clinicians with continued education in neurologic rehabilitation.

Our program aims to provide the highest quality stroke rehabilitation care possible, to educate stroke survivors and the community about stroke rehabilitation, and to advocate for stroke survivors and their families.

We welcome referrals from physicians, hospitals, nursing homes, family members, case managers and insurance providers.
