Electrophysiologist Matthew Ebinger, DO, a new addition to the Genesys Heart Institute team, is considered one of those experts. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Wayne State University in 2003, and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology from Henry Ford Hospital in 2005.
He comes from the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor – department of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. For the past three years, he directed the university’s satellite program at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester.
Dr. Ebinger is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He has a special interest in advanced techniques for catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias and chronic resynchronization therapy.
At the Genesys Heart Institute, he will provide electrophysiology services, including cardiac ablation procedures, ICDs, pacemakers, and cardiac resynchronization therapy. In addition, he will be starting a multidisciplinary atrial fibrillation program, which will offer patients advanced medical and surgical options for the treatment of atrial fibrillation.
Dr. Ebinger is now accepting new patients at his office located in the Genesys Health Park medical office building.
