General Information

AOA and MOA Dues – As a trainee in an accredited training program, it is required that you keep your American Osteopathic Association membership current. It is recommended that you join the Michigan Osteopathic Association as well. Please visit their website to complete the MOA application and return to Medical Education by Friday, April 9, 2010. As a new member of the MOA, you will receive a complimentary “On-Call Principles and Protocols” book at orientation.

Call Room Keys – Call Room keys will be distributed at orientation to ENT, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Ob/Gyn interns. A key is not required for the intern lounge/call room.

Lab Coats –As a benefit, you are allowed up to three (3) lab coats per contract year. These coats must be ordered through QD Scrubs in Owosso/Lansing. Download the lab coat instruction form for more details.

Lockers – An individual locker will be provided for your use during your training. You must provide your own lock.

Mailbox –You will be provided with your own mail box in the resident's lounge at Health Park.

Medical Center E-Mail Account - All trainees will have a Genesys e-mail account. It’s expected that you check this email account on a regular basis. Particular information about your e-mail address will be given to you at orientation.

Pagers - You will receive an alpha-numeric pager at orientation.

Parking Permit Form – Please complete and return the parking permit form. You will receive your parking permit at orientation. Download the Health Park parking lot map which indicates where you should park.

Personal Data Information Form – Please complete the intern/resident information form and return to Medical Education by April 9, 2010.
