IRBnet Instructions for use

You may want to print these instructions for 1st time use.

Step 1 - For a research submission:
Connect to the internet – goto the http://www.IRBnet.org
For detailed instructions - goto the "Researcher training to IRBnet.org" section of the website.

Step 2 - Log in – First time users – click “NEW USER REGISTRATION,” complete the user profile, select "Genesys Regional Medical Center," and "remember your password."

Step 3 - Click - STUDY MANAGER or CREATE NEW STUDY and fill in the information

Step 4 - Click - STUDY DESIGNER to add IRB forms - All IRB forms are located in form library drop down menu

Step 5 - Click - SAVE - Save the form to your computer to complete and edit

Step 6 - Click - SHARE THIS STUDY – Select “Give read access” and select who you would like to have access to read your research (This stage is optional. You do not have to share it.)

Step 7 - Click – SEND MAIL – Use only for a quick email a note to research team, or IRB (This stage is optional.)

Step 8 - Click – SIGN STUDY – Electronic signature is accepted as a legal signature

Step 9 - Click – SUBMIT THIS STUDY – Be sure to select Genesys IRB in the “Search for Organization drop menu

Step 10 – Click – Study OVERVIEW – To review what has been sent – study will be under “Pending Review” status until the IRB votes at the next meeting

*An electronic IRB letter will be sent to your email notifying you of the IRB decision and recommendations.
