RN to EMT/Paramedic Program

RN to EMS Bridge Programs
Genesys Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the 2010 RN to EMS Bridge Programs. These programs are designed to provide the RN with the knowledge and skills to assess and treat the acutely ill or injured patients in the prehospital setting. Upon completion of these Genesys Programs, the RN will then be eligible to challenge the National Registry Examination. RN's passing the National Registry examination will then be eligible to apply for licensure with the State of Michigan.

Class will be held on Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at Genesys, West Flint Campus.

Here are the upcoming RN to EMS Bridge programs.

***Note: Students applying for the paramedic program MUST have a current EMT - Basic or Specialist / Intermediate License.***

Tuition Assistance

Various types of tuition assistance are accepted for students attending Genesys sponsored programs:

Tuition Assistance for Genesys Employees ( Must be a full time employee)
Organizational Tuition Assistance (i.e. Fire Department, Ambulance Company, etc...)

Student loans are not currently accepted!

If you do not see a particular tuition assistance that you are qualified to utilize, please feel free to contact the EMS department at (810) 606-7763 to check on the possibility of adding your program to the accepted list.
