Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider -
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider/Retraining Classes (ACLS)
ACLS Provider Course pre-requisite is a current American Heart Association approved BLS Healthcare Provider Card (card must be presented on or before the class).
ACLS Renewal Course pre-requisites are a current American Heart Association approved ALCS Care and BLS Healthcare Provider card (card must be presented on or before the class).
Employees: Phone registrations are not accepted. Come to Nursing Education Office (Room 4425) to pick-up registration form and study material. Non-employees: If accepted into the course, study material will be mailed to your home address along with a receipt for monies paid. Registration will not be accepted/confirmed without pre-payment.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider and Recertification Courses are offered regularly during the year. For information on PALS courses offered through Genesys, please contact Dominic Foster in EMS Education at (810) 762-4448. All Courses are held at the Genesys Learning Institute and start promptly at 9 am! Online registration is available.

Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
NRP Courses: Provides comprehensive training for health care providers whose job responsibilities may require them to participate in neonatal resuscitation. Current NRP Provider Card must be presented on or before the first day of the course. There is no grace period: card expires on expiration date. If the card is expired, health care provider must take the Neonatal Resuscitation Provider full course. Please pick up course materials from Medical Library or in Room 4425 and read prior to Provider course. Online course is now available via American Academy of Pediatrics at www.aap.org/nrp. Participants must complete Megacode Performance Checklist with an instructor within 30 days of online course completion. For more information, please contact Lisa Tedrow at (810) 606-5382.
