Genesys EMS Education

Genesys Health System provides Emergency Medical Services Educational programs as a community service, to better the quality of health care delivered in the Pre-Hospital setting within Genesee and the surrounding counties. Our mission is to improve the quality of pre-hospital emergency care rendered in our communities through excellence in primary EMS education, and continuing educational programs.

Genesys Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic), and Paramedic primary educational programs are taught throughout the year. EMS continuing education credits are available for any licensed EMS provider to attend for free. The credits may be obtained by attending portions of the Basic EMT program. Please contact anyone in the office for a continuing education schedule.

Genesys has the Highest Level of Approval for EMS Primary Educational Programs awarded by the MDCH (Michigan Department of Community Health).
