Genesys Paramedic Program

The Paramedic program at Genesys meets and exceeds State of Michigan and Paramedic National Standard Curriculum requirements. This aproximately 16 month program consist of classroom education two days a week. Clinical rotations are performed within Genesys Regional Medical Center, Hurley Medical Center, and with various EMS agencies in Genesee and the surrounding counties. EMT-Basic licensure is a prerequisite. Successful completion of the Paramedic program prepares the student for National Registry licensure as an EMT-Paramedic. Graduates can also receive college credit for this program if they matriculate into Baker College, or Mott Community College.
