I would like to draw special attending to two nurses in particular. Chris in the ICU unit is one of the most kindhearted, caring, and compassionate nurses that I dealt with in that unit. He took extra time out of his schedule to make sure I wasn't in need of anything, especially of the need for a friend to talk to. I'll never forget our conversations and I consider him to be one of my hero's while I was up there. he deserves commendation and recognition as he' very special.

The 2nd nurse, Monica, from the 2nd floor nursing staff was my angel. She always made sure I was not lacking in attention; which I know is the way it is support to be with all the staff. But she did it more on a personal level. Every time she came into my room, it brightened up. She took the time to really get to know me, who I was; not just another patient. She truly cared beyond her job. Whenever I was feeling anxiety, she was there with comforting words and a kind touch. She helped make my 5-days more bearable, just by being there for me. She is truly a wonderful young woman and should be considered an asset to your staff and commended for it.
