Hello,
I am a all star patient or frequent flier they so call me and everyone knows me or has seen me at one time or another but shirley is qiuck to get my midline for me so that I don't have to be picked on. I would like to recommend her for the daisy award.There have been many of times when she has cried and been in the room with hot packs.Simply SHE IS THE BEST,so caring ,has a great personality and literly can work miracle when everyone has no hope on gaining an I.V acess on me.When they see me everyone but she is concerned I am getting my medicine and being out of pain.It amazes me just the gift and talent she has in hard cases and how friendly she is. It always breaks her heart when I am there and sick.I have non compliant lung dieases and a muscle diseases which lands me several stays per month. I would like her to be recognized for all of her hard but heart felt work.I was a nursing student prior to my health crisis and feel that this is the type of health care providers we need i nthe healthcare feild today.When she comes in to my room its kind of like an old friend she says we need one where do we go? I pick an arm then she works the magic.What is most fun is we tell our stories about our little poochies.In my closing,we have developed a relationship built on trust and I know when in shirleys care I got the expert but yet she is so down to earth she is like a friend and became part of my family.By honoring her and recognizing what she does I feel she wikk know how much I appreciate what she has done and continues to do for me and all those other itsy bitsy vein patients.
