I would like to take the opportunity to nominate Brendy Lundy for the Daisy award. She was my preceptor while I was in my last semester of nursing school. I was so nervous about taking care of a full patient load-solo. She helped me to feel comfortable in the caregiver role and better understand the "Genesys Way" of caring for patients. She was so wonderful. She really took me in under her wing and showed me how "real world" nursing is done.

Brenda has excellent leadership skills and she really is what I think of as the "image of nursing". I am so thankful that she is in the preceptor role-I don't know what I would have done without her!!!

She is a very effecient, friendly, caring nurse. She really understands what it means to take care of patients holistically. I can take some of her experience and patient care skills with me as I embark on my nursing journey. THANK YOU BRENDA!!!
