This is the award-winning letter sent to Cindy Palmateer:
On December 9th, 2880, I was admitted for a cervical fusion under the care of Dr. Jackson. Instead of completing the basic questionnaire, I truly believe a typed written letter would better serve and explain the dedication and commitment I received from Cindy on this day.

She was amazing from the very minute I met her. She treated me with the utmost dignity and respect that you would would want for your own family members. Not only did she treat me with outstanding patient care, but my two teenage daughters as well. She took the time to answer all of medical questions before I went into surgery and all of them from my daughters as well.

We were really impressed with her bedside manner. I told her before going into the operation room that she was the best nurse I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Most of my medical care has been through the Veterans Hospital since I am a disabled veteran and her dedication really blows them out of the water.

Please let her know her kindness did not go unnoticed!
